0333 numbers are non-geographic numbers that any organisation can use. Calls cost the same as calling an 01 or 02 landline number and count towards inclusive minutes on mobile and landline plans.

A 0333 number is not tied to a location, so it does not tell you where the caller is. Many genuine organisations use these numbers, but so do sales and scam call centres – check the full number before you call back.
